DEFINITION OF KEY OPERATIONS
There are 3 operational modes for the
buttons on the radio: short press, long press
and hold. Unless stated otherwise, all
operations described in this document are
short press.
Short press: press the key briefly, and the
function starts to work.
Long press: press and hold for more than 1.2
seconds. This invokes the long-press
function of the button.
Hold on: Press and hold the button. The
function will continue to work while the key is
depressed. This is useful for functions such
as tuning to a desired radio frequency, or
fast-forwarding/rewinding MP3 tracks.
Please use the included original lithium battery
to power this product. Only use genuine TIVDIO
batteries or TIVDIO approved batteries for this
product. Do not use any third-party or no-name
battery as it may cause damage to this product
and can pose a fire, explosion, and/or injury risk.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
LITHIUM BATTERY POWER SUPPLY
1. T urn off the radio and open the battery cover.
2. Install the provided lithium battery according
to the battery polarity.
3. Close the battery cover.

2. To charge the battery, connect the Micro-USB
cable to the radio and the other end to a USB
adapter.
3. While charging, the battery symbol shown on
the display moves from right to left, and
stops when the battery is fully charged. At this
point disconnect the radio from the adapter.
NOTE:
When charging, press < > to turn the radio on or off.
Alternating current (A/C) can interfere with receive radio
signals so it is recommended that you do not use radio
mode while the radio is charging.
Do not use the device if the battery is being charged from
empty. It is recommended that the battery be charged
to 100% once every 2 months if the device is not to be
used for a long time.
Charged from a PC
1. Connect the radio to the computer using the
provided USB cable.
2.Charging is indicated by the batter y symbol on
the radio display
3. Full battery charge is indicated once the
battery stops flashing
NOTE: When the device is being charged from a PC, a
USB symbol will appear on the radio display.

In Main Menu, select Radio and press <MENU>
to listen to FM, the tuned frequency is shown on
the display.
Repeatedly pressing the<RADIO/MP3> button
toggles between Radio or Music Mode.
HOW TO PLAY THE RADIO?
NOTE:
It is not recommended to listen to FM broadcasts while
the radio is connected to an external USB power adapter
or to a computer USB port due to interference.
SELECT FM FREQUENCY RANGE
When listening to FM, press <MENU> to enter
the following sub-menu:
- Ordinary band: 87-108MHz
- Campus radio: MHz64-108
- Japanese FM: MHz76-90
- Exit
Suggestions:
1. Stereo mode is best for strong signals such as those
originating from local stations.
2. Mono mode is best for distant or low power stations.
This is because stereo decoding of the signal can add
noise

TUNING IN STATIONS
For optimal performance, it is best to tune the radio
outside concrete buildings and away from high
voltage A/C electrical equipment, transformers, and
power sources. Extend and position the antenna to
get the best signal reception.
Using built-in antenna:
The ferrite rod antenna built-in is used for
MW (AM) reception. Changing the radios
position can yield improved reception.
Using telescopic antenna:
The telescopic antenna is used for FM and SW.
Extend and orient the antenna to improve
reception.
Suggestions:
Tuning station methods:
Turn on the device in radio mode. Set the volume
to the preferred level. Select the desired band
and rotate the <-TUNING> knob until the desired
station is obtained.

When tuning indoors, better reception can be
obtained if the radio is tuned outside on a balcony
or patio, or near a window. AC current can
interfere with radio reception so it is preferable
to use battery power while tuning the radio.
It is not recommended to use the radio when
charging the battery.

With the device powered off, i nsert a micro SD/TF
card or a USB drive containing MP3/WMA/WAV
format audio files into the corresponding slot on
the radio.
Then turn on the radio and select [Music] in Main
menu, press <MENU> to enter music playing
mode, the display will show information about the
currently playing song or audio file.
In Radio mode, press <Radio/MP3> to directly
switch over to Music mode .

Both Chinese and English lyrics are supported
and can be shown on the display. The lyrics file
must be in .lrc format, use the same name as the
song and must be located in the same folder.
Some Chinese characters may be illegible or
missing on the display, because of the many
variations that exist.

NOTE: Operate time for each step is about 5 seconds.

SLEEP TIMER
In , select [Tools] - [Sleep timer], System Settings
press <MENU> to enter. Press < > or < >
to adjust the auto turn off timer from 00 - 90,
select 00 to turn off the sleep timer. Press
<MENU> to confirm and exit.
The radio will turn off automatically when reaches
the preset timer.
After setting the sleep timer, [ ] will show on
the display when the time is displayed.
BACKLIGHT TIMER
Select [Backlight] in System Settings, press
<MENU> to enter. Press < > or < > to
adjust the backlight timer from 03-240 (seconds),
press <MENU> to confirm and exit.
Select [Language] in System Settings, press
<MENU> to enter. Press < > or < > to
select your desired language.
Available languages:

CONTRAST SET
Select [Contrast] in System Settings, Press
<MENU> to enter. Press < > or < > to
adjust the contrast from 00-16, press <MENU>
to confirm and exit.
TURN ON/OFF KEY TONE
In System Settings, select [Tools] - [Touch-tune
(off)]. Press <MENU> to turn on the key tone,
and [Keypad tones (on)] shows on the display.
While [Keypad tones (on)] will appear on the
displays, select it and press <MENU> to turn off
the key tone.
FIRMWARE VERSION
Select [Firmware version] in System Settings,
press <MENU> to display the firmware version
information.
ALARM SET
In System Settings, select [Tools] - [Alarm]. Press
<MENU> to see the following submenu:
- Alarm Off
Press <MENU> to set the alarm on or off.
[Alarm Off] indicates the alarm is off,
[Alarm ON] indicates the alarm is activated.
- Alarm Cycle
You can select to [Ring Once], [Ring Daily] or
[Ring multi-day].
Ring Once: Press < > or < > to adjust the
Year, Month and day, Press <MENU> to move
the cursor, and press <EXIT> to save and exit.
Ring Daily: Alarm sounds everyday at the set time
Ring multi-day: Select from Monday to Sunday,
Press <MENU> to select and tick icon will appear
on the display. Press <EXIT> to save and exit.
- Alarm Time
Press < > or < > to adjust the desired
alarm Hour and the Minute, Press <MENU> to
move the cursor, and then Press <EXIT> to save
the alarm time and exit.
- Alarm Mode
Ringtone alarm: the device will “wake” with
ringtone sound.
Radio alarm: the device will “wake” to the last
radio station tuned to.

When the alarm is enabled, [ ] appears on
the display, When the preset time is reached, the
radio will sound according to the mode selected.
This can be a ringtone, or a radio station, or an
audio file on the inserted SD/TF card.
If the selected mode is [Ring Embedded],
pressing any button will silence the ringone after
the alarm goes off.

Select [Restore factory settings] in System
Settings, Press <MENU> note that [Restore
factory sett, NO] shows on the display. Press
< > or < > to make [NO] or [YES] will
alternate on the display. Select [YES] and press
<MENU> to confirm reset.
Music alarm: The device will “wake”with song
from the T-Flash/micro SD card.

USE AS AN ACTIVE LOUDSPEAKER
(LINE-IN)
The radio has line-in function and can be used as
an active loudspeaker by connecting it to another
media devices such as laptop, voice recorder,
CD cell phone or even another Mp3 player
using a line-in cable.
Plug one end of the line-in cable to the headphone
jack of the media device, and the other end into
<AUX> jack on the side of the radio. [ AUX ]
will appear on the display, then play the audio from
the media device.
The radio can also be used as computer speaker.
Use a USB cable to connect the radio to a
computer, the audio from the computer will be
played through this device’s speaker.
CAUTION
temperature: (20±5)°C, relative humidity: 65 ±
20%. Under normal circumstances, the battery
can be charged and discharged about 300 times.
2. Do not expose the battery to heat or high
pressure, do not drop the battery. Do not allow
children to handle or play with the battery.
3. Do not short-circuit the battery. Do not attempt
to disassemble battery. Do not expose the
battery to damp or wet environments.
4. If not using for an extended period of time,
remove the battery and store in a safe manner.
Please use a nonconductive material to wrap the
battery in order to avoid direct contact with metal.
You can avoid damages by keeping the battery
in a cool dry place.
5. Dispose of the battery properly in a safe,
environmentally friendly manner. Never dispose
of batteries in fire because they could explode.

1. The device does not turn on.
Check if the battery is charged. If not, charge
the battery.
2. Can not be connected to a computer.
Connect the device to the computer only if the
device is powered off.
The USB cable maybe damaged, please try
another one.
3. Speaker does not sound.
Check if the volume level is too low, turn it up.
4. Can not play audio from the Micro SD(TF)
card or USB drive.
Make sure the SD/TF card or USB stick is
properly inserted.
Possibly the card or USB drive isn’t compatible.
Try a different SD/TF card or USB drive.
Check that the file(s) on the card are present,
are not damaged, and are of the proper format.
5. Can not charge the radio.
Check if the external adapter or the USB cable
was connected correctly.
Check if the adapter or USB cable is damaged.
6. To reset the radio
Remove the battery for a few minutes. Then
reset the battery. Note that failure to follow
the procedures outlined in this booklet can lead
to firmware errors.

4) 9K / 10K MW ÉTAPES
Lorsque vous écoutez MW, tourner <-TUNING

5) VOLUME / MUTE
Pour augmenter le volume, appuyez sur <V +>;
pour diminuer le volume, appuyez sur <V->, le
réglage du volume sera affiché à l'écran.
Appuyez sur < > pour Mute, appuyez à
nouveau pour rétablir le son.
6) RÉGLAGE DES STATIONS
Lorsque vous essayez de réglage des stations,
s'il vous plaît l'accorder à l'extérieur des
bâtiments en béton, et rester à l'écart de
l'équipement électrique et les perturbations de
courant. L'utilisation optimale de l'antenne
améliore la réception du signal.
Suggestions:
Lors du réglage intérieur, rester à l'extérieur
comme balcon et près des fenêtres pour une
meilleure réception.
Courant alternatif peut interférer avec la
réception de la radio, s'il vous plaît utiliser la
batterie au lithium pour alimenter la radio
pendant le réglage.
Il est recommandé de ne pas utiliser la radio
lors de la recharge de la batterie.
7) Utilisation de l'antenne télescopique:
Il ne fonctionne que lorsque vous écoutez FM et
SW. Lorsque vous écoutez FM ou SW, changer
la longueur de l'antenne télescopique selon
l'intensité du signal pour obtenir une meilleure
réception.
8) Utilisation d'une antenne intégrée:
L'antenne de tige de ferrite œuvres intégrées
pour AM seulement, changer la position de la
radio pour obtenir la meilleure réception. Donc,
l'emplacement de la radio affecte la réception
AM, une bonne direction de la radio vous
obtient une bien meilleure réception sur MW.
