Congratulations! You have just purchased the exceptional LUCY aroma diffuser.

It will bring you a great deal of pleasure and improve the ambient air for you.

As with all domestic electrical appliances, particular care is needed with this

model also, in order to avoid injury, fire damage or damage to the appliance.

Please study these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance

for the first time and follow the safety advice on the appliance itself.

Description of the appliance

The appliance consists of the following main components:

1. USB cable

2. Connection for USB-C cable

3. Status LED light

4. On/Off button

5. Button for LED dimmer (normal, dimmed, lights-out)

6. Lower part / water container

7. Maximum mark

8. Ultrasonic membrane

9. Air outlet opening (Caution: no water may enter this opening!)

10. Upper part / lid

11. Mist outlet

Important safety instructions - SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Please read through the operating instructions carefully before you use the ap-

pliance for the first time and keep them safely for later reference; if necessary

pass them on to the next owner.

• Stadler Form refuses all liability for loss or damage which arises as a result

of failure to follow these operating instructions.

• The appliance is only to be used in the home for the purposes described

in these instructions. Unauthorised use and technical modifications to the

appliance can lead to danger to life and health.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex-

perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user main-

tenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Only connect the cable to alternating current. Observe the voltage informa-

tion given on the appliance.

• Do not use damaged extension cords.

• Do not run the power cord over sharp edges and make sure that it does not

get trapped.

• Do not pull the plug from the socket with wet hands or by holding on to the

power cord.

• Do not use the appliance in immediate vicinity of a bath tub, a shower or

a swimming pool (observe a minimum distance of 2.3 ft / 0.7 m). Place the

appliance such that a person in the bath tub cannot touch the appliance.

• Keep the device away from heat sources.

• This device contains a lithium battery.

• In case of battery leakage: Avoid contact with human eyes and skin. Collect

spillage.

• Do not place the appliance near a heat source. Do not subject the power cord

to direct heat (such as a heated hotplate, open flames, hot iron sole plates or

heaters for example). Protect power cords from oil.

• Do not drop the device. Otherwise the battery may overheat, cause a fire or

malfunction and reduce service life.

• See to it that the appliance is properly positioned to ensure a high stability

during its operation and make sure that no one can trip over the power cord.

• The appliance is not splash-proof.

• For indoor use only.

• Do not store the appliance outdoors.

• Store the appliance in a dry place inaccessible to children (pack the appli-

ance).

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a

repair shop authorized by the manufacturer or by similarly qualified persons

in order to avoid a hazard.

• Only use fragrances, aromas or essential oils that do NOT contain alcohol.

Alcohol can damage the appliance. Appliances that are damaged by such

additives are not covered by the warranty.

• Prior to any maintenance, cleaning and after each use, switch off the appli-

ance and unplug the mains cable from the socket.

• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a qualified elec-

trical technician.

• WARNING: Only use the USB cable provided by the manufacturer. Use only

an external supply with the following specifications: DC 5V/2A.

Setting up / operation

1. Place Lucy in the desired position on a flat surface. Connect the USB-C cable

(1) to the appliance (2) and connect the cable to a suitable power source (PC,

external battery, USB socket or to a suitable socket via a power adapter

with min. 2 A/5 V). When the appliance is used for the first time, the battery

must be charged by connecting the appliance to a power source for at least 6

hours. When the battery is fully charged, the status LED light (3) will go out.

After the battery has been fully charged for the first time, you can operate

the appliance without the cable using the power from the integrated rechar-

geable battery. A fully charged battery will give the appliance a running time

of up to 7 h. When the water container is full and the appliance is connected

to a power source, Lucy can operate for up to 10 h.

2. Remove the lid (10) to fill with water and fragrance.

3. Fill the water container (6) up to the maximum mark (MAX) (7) with water.

No water may enter the air outlet opening (9). This will damage the appli-

ance and will void any claim to the warranty.

4. Important: transport the appliance in an upright position and without making

any jerky movements if there is water in the container (6). If the appliance

is moved quickly or tilted, water may leak out and run into the electronics

inside the appliance. This will damage the appliance and will void any claim

to the warranty.

5. Add 2–3 drops of your favourite liquid fragrance directly into the water. It is

not necessary to mix them as the ultrasonic membrane (8) does this for you.

Only use fragrances, aromas or essential oils that do NOT contain alcohol.

6. Close the lid (10) again.

7. Then switch Lucy on by pressing the on/off button (4).

8. If you would like to top the water up, switch off the appliance and disconnect

the USB cable if it is connected to the appliance (1 + 2). Remove the lid (10)

and fill the water up to the maximum mark.

9. If you are disturbed by the brightness of the illuminated mist (in the bedroom,

for example), you can reduce the brightness of the LEDs by pressing the dim-

mer button (5). You can choose between three different modes:

• Normal mode (switched on as standard)

• Dimmed mode (press once)

• Light-off mode (press twice)

You can return to normal mode by re-pressing the dimmer button (5).

10. On the back of the bottom part above the connection for the USB cable (2),

you will find the status display for the battery (3):

• Normal operation with fully charged battery: LED is not illuminated

• Battery level 10 % or lower: LED flashes

• Battery is charging: LED is illuminated constantly

When the device is fully charged, the LED will go out. You can now disconnect

the USB cable and use the device in battery mode (for up to 7 hours).

Note: If you would like to change the fragrance, empty Lucy completely and

clean the water container with a damp cloth. Fill Lucy once again and pour the

drops into the device following the instructions.

Cleaning

Prior to any maintenance and after each use, switch off the appliance and dis-

connect the USB cable (1) from it.

Careful: Never immerse the device in water (danger of short circuit).

• Regularly as required: To clean the outside, rub with a damp cloth and then

dry thoroughly.

• If there are marks caused by water and/or fragrances on the top of the lid

(10), clean it with a damp cloth and a squirt of washing-up liquid. Then dry

the lid thoroughly before using the appliance again.

• Internal cleaning: You can clean the ultrasonic membrane with a con-

ventional household descaler. If there are lime deposits, we recom-

mend that you use Stadler Form Cleaner & Descaler (www.stadle-

rform.com/accessories). Alternatively, you can use a household

descaling agent or vinegar. Please do not try to scratch off deposits

from the membrane with a hard object. For stubborn deposits, we

recommend that you descale the device several times in a row. After the

descaling rinse the base and then dry thoroughly.

• No water may enter the air outlet opening (9). This will damage the appli-

ance and will void any claim to the warranty.

Repairs

• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a qualified elec-

trical technician. If improper repairs are carried out, the warranty lapses and

all liability is refused.

• Never operate the appliance if the adaptor or plug is damaged, after it has

malfunctioned, if it has been dropped or has been damaged in any other way

(cracks/breaks in the casing).

• Do not push any object into the appliance.

• If the appliance is beyond repair, make it unusable immediately by cutting

through the cable and hand it in at the collection point provided for the pur-

pose.

• In the event of a repair, the following points must be observed before the

appliance is shipped or taken to the dealer: completely empty the water

in the appliance (water tray or water tank), and allow the appliance to dry

completely. Appliances containing residual water may be damaged during

transport, invalidating the warranty.

Disposal

• Do not push any object into the appliance.

• Do not dispose of electrical appliances in the domestic waste. Please use

the communal collection points.

• If electrical appliances are disposed of thoughtlessly, exposure to the ele-

ments may cause hazardous substances to find their way into the ground-

water and from there into the food chain, or to poison the flora and fauna

for many years to come.

• Battery disposal method: This appliance contains batteries that are non-re-

placeable. When the battery is at end of life, the appliance shall be properly

disposed of. Do not throw into the trash can, the electrode is wrapped in

insulating paper, it can be recycled and reused.

B At its option, Swizz Style will repair or replace this product if it is found

to be defective in material or workmanship. Defective product should be re-

mation.

C This warranty does not cover damage resulting from any unauthorized

attempts to repair or from any use not in accordance with the instruction

D If the product has replaceable filters, these are not covered under this

warranty, except for material or workmanship defects.

Veuillez lire attentivement le mode d‘emploi avant la première mise en service de

l’appareil et conservez-le pour toute consultation ultérieure ou remettez-le, le cas

échéant, au nouveau propriétaire.

• La société Stadler Form décline toute responsabilité des dommages résultant

du non-respect des indications données dans ce mode d‘emploi.

• Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’aux fins domestiques décrites dans ce mode

d’emploi. Toute utilisation contraire à sa destination ainsi que toute modifica-

tion technique apportée à l’appareil peut entraîner des risques pour la santé

et la vie.

• Cet appareil peut être utilisé par les enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus et les per-

sonnes aux capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou ne dispo-

Mise en marche/Manipulation

1. Posez Lucy à l’endroit voulu sur une surface plane. Branchez le cordon USB-C (1)

sur l’appareil (3) et raccordez-le à une source de courant appropriée (ordinateur,

batterie externe, prise USB ou prise de courant appropriée via un adaptateur

de courant de 2 A/5 V minimum). Avant la première mise en service, chargez

l’appareil à une source de courant pendant au moins 6 heures. La batterie est

complètement chargée lorsque la LED d’état (3) est éteinte. Après le premier

chargement complet, vous pouvez utiliser l’appareil sans fil grâce à sa batterie

rechargeable intégrée. Avec un chargement complet, l’appareil peut fonctionner

pendant 7 h maximum. Avec un récipient d’eau plein, il peut fonctionner raccor-

dé à une source de courant pendant 10 h maximum.

2. Soulevez le couvercle (10) pour le remplir d’eau et de parfums.

3. A présent, remplissez le récipient d’eau (6) jusqu’à la marque du niveau maxi-

mum (MAX) (7). L’eau ne doit en aucune manière pénétrer dans la sortie d’air (9).

Cela risque d’endommager l’appareil et annuler la garantie.

4. Attention : transportez l’appareil à la verticale et sans faire de mouvements

brusques lorsque le récipient (6) contient de l’eau. Elle risquerait de pénétrer

dans le système électronique si vous faites des mouvements brusques ou si

vous ne tenez pas l’appareil droit. Ceci endommagerait l’appareil et annulerait

la garantie.

5. Ajoutez 2–3 gouttes de votre parfum liquide préféré directement dans l’eau. Il

n’est pas nécessaire de les mélanger, la membrane à ultrasons (8) s’en charge

à votre place. N’utilisez que des parfums, arômes ou huiles essentielles qui NE

contiennent PAS d’alcool.

6. Refermez le couvercle (10).

7. Puis mettez Lucy en marche en appuyant sur le commutateur marche/arrêt (4).

8. Si vous souhaitez remplir le récipient d’eau, éteignez l’appareil et retirez le cor-

don USB de l’appareil (1 + 2) s’il est branché. Ôtez le couvercle (10) et remplissez

le récipient d’eau jusqu’à la marque de niveau maximum.

9. Si vous êtes gêné(e) par la luminosité de la brume illuminée (par ex. dans la

chambre à coucher), vous pouvez réduire l’intensité de la LED en appuyant sur le

commutateur de gradation d’intensité (5). Vous pouvez choisir entre trois modes

différents :

• Mode normal (en marche comme standard)

• Mode diminué (appuyez une fois)

• Mode éteint (appuyez deux fois)

Vous pouvez retourner en mode normal en ré appuyant sur le commutateur du

gradateur (5).

10. L’affichage d’état de la batterie (3) se trouve à l’arrière de la partie inférieure,

au dessus de la prise pour le cordon USB (2):
