Hearing safety

Listen at a moderate volume.

Using headphones at a high volume can 

impair your hearing. This product can

produce sounds in decibel ranges that

may cause hearing loss for a normal

How to connect a plug

The wires in the mains lead are coloured with

the following code: blue = neutral (N), brown

As these colours may not correspond with the

Connect the blue wire to the terminal 

marked N or coloured black.

Prepare the remote control

1 Remove the protective tab to activate the

remote control battery.

2 Open the battery compartment.

3 Insert one lithium CR2025 battery with

correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.

Connect FM antenna

Tip

For optimal reception, fully extend and adjust 

the position of the antenna.

The unit does not support MW radio

antenna to the DAB/FM AERIAL jack on

the main unit.

that allows FM stations to show additional

information. If you tune to a RDS station, the

station name is displayed.

1 Tune to a RDS station.

You can use time signal broadcast together with

the RDS signal to set the clock of the unit.

1 Tune to a RDS radio station that

transmits time signals.

2 Press and hold DISPLAY.

‘CLK Sync’ is displayed.»

The accuracy of the transmitted time depends 

on the RDS station that transmits the time

signal.

Program radio stations

manually

Note

You can program a maximum of 20 preset 

radio stations.

1 Tune to a radio station.

2 Press PROG to activate programming.

3 Press PRESET / to allocate a number

from 1 to 20 to this radio station, then

press PROGWRFRQÀUP

The preset number and the frequency »

of the preset station are displayed.

4 Repeat the above steps to program other

stations.

Note

To overwrite a programmed station, store 

another station in its place.

Scan DAB radio stations

New stations and services are regularly added

to DAB broadcast. To make new DAB stations

and service available on your DAB radio, a full

scan is needed.

1 In the DAB mode, press SCAN to

perform a full scan (wide range) for DAB

stations.

Display station information

Tune to a DAB radio station.

2 Press DISPLAY repeatedly to scroll

through the following information (if

available):

You can store a maximum of 20 preset DAB

radio stations.

Full scan is used to perform a wide range of

DAB radio search (outside UK).

1 In the DAB mode, press to enter the

menu options.

2 Press / repeatedly until Auto scan

full is displayed.

DRC value

Dynamic range control (DRC) adds or removes

a degree of compensation for the differences in

the dynamic range between radio stations.

 [DRC HIGH] (DRC is switched on;

the default setting recommended for

noisy environment.)

 [DRC LOW] (DRC is set to half

normal level.)

 [DRC OFF] (DRC is switched off.)

To overwrite a preset station, store another 

station in its place.
