1. Insert memory card
Insert a microSD memory card into the memory
card slot located on the left side of the LCD screen.
Be aware of the orientation shown in the picture
located on the right. (Electrical contacts of the
memory card should be facing the LCD display side
of the camera, with the notches of microSD card
facing up.) When the memory card is successfully
inserted, you will hear a clicking’ sound.
**A Class 10, 8GB or above microSD memory card is required. The camera
supports up to 128GB of memory capacity. (Memory card not included.)
2. Attach mount to camera
Align and position mount connector with the
groved notch located at the top of the camera.
Push mount in the direction towards the LCD side.
Ensure the mount is securely attached before
installing camera.
3. Install the front camera
Find a suitable location on your windshield to install
the camera. We recommend placing the camera
behind the rear view mirror while not obstructing
your view when driving.
Clean the windshield using water or alcohol and
wipe clean with a lint-free cloth before installing.
Ensure the suction mount is clean before installing
to windshield. Rotate the locking knob on the mount
clockwise until it clicks. After that, the camera is
securely mounted on the windshield.
Installation
5
5. Install the rear camera
Locate a suitable position on your rear windshield
to install the rear camera. We recommend placing
the camera at the top-centered position for the best
results.
Clean the rear windshield using water or alcohol,
and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.
Peel off the protection lm from the 3M adhesive
pad and attach the mount on the rear windshield.
4. Remove Lens Protection Film (Front)
Remove the Protection lm from the Front
Camera’s lens. For best video recording results,
please try to avoid touching the camera lens with
ngers, as ngerprints and/or oil may degrade
image quality.
6. Remove Lens Protection Film (Rear)
Remove the Protection lm from the Rear Cameras
lens. For best video recording results, please
avoid touching the camera lens with ngers, as
ngerprints and/or oil may degrade image quality.
Installation

7. Connect Dual Channel Cable
The dual channel cable consists of 3 separate
plugs. The rst is a microUSB male plug “labelled
B” that has two joined cables in Y-split form. The
second plug is a microUSB female port. The third
plug is an angled microUSB plug for the Rear
Camera. Please plug the microUSB with the two
joined cables into the Front Cameras USB Port.
8. Connect Power Cable
Connect the microUSB male plug from the Power
Adapter supplied into the female microUSB port on
the Dual Channel cable.
9. Connect Rear Camera Cable
Connect the angled microUSB male plug of
the Dual Channel cable into the Rear Cameras
microUSB port.
10. Organize the wires
Hide the power cable by tucking the cable into the
space between the seams of the vehicle headliner
and the top of the windshield. Route the power
cable down from one side of the windshield along
the A pillar trim and route the Rear Camera cable
down from the other side of the vehicle. We
recommend routing the cables on separate sides
due to the thickness of the wires if routed together.
Professional installation is recommended.

The camera is designed to automatically power on when it receives power from the
car power adapter. A start-up sound will be played when the camera has started
successfully.
Automatic: When the camera is ON, simply turn OFF the engine or unplug the power
cable and the camera will switch OFF automatically.

vehicle’s power socket provides continuous power after the engine is turned OFF. To
turn the power off manually, press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds
until the camera is powered off.
To turn the camera on manually, press and hold the power button for at least 3
seconds.
Loop Recording
Default: 3 Minutes
The loop recording function allows the camera to continuously record video footage
to the memory card. When there is insufcient space on the memory card, loop
recording will automatically overwrite the oldest non-protected le on the memory
card and replace with a new recording.
The available settings of 1/3/5 minute intervals allows you to set the length of each
recorded video le.
Emergency le protection
Default: Low
When the G-sensor is activated due to a collision impact, the footage currently
recorded will be automatically locked to avoid being overwritten by loop recording.
Adjust the G-sensor level of the camera to the appropriate setting based on your
driving area and preference.
Parking Surveillance Mode
Default: Off
When Parking Mode has been turned on, the Dash Cam enters standby mode when
the vehicle has been turned OFF (typically, ignition OFF).
Should physical movement of the vehicle be detected, the Dash Cam will power on
and start recording a 30 second protected video. If no further physical movement is
detected, the camera will return to standby mode. If physical movement is detected
again, subsequently the camera will continue to record normally, i.e. driving
resumes.

FAQ
What happens when my memory card is full?
The RSC duDuo e1 allows its user to congure the length of each video segment
(Available intervals are at 1, 3, and 5 minutes) When the memory card is full, the
earlier recorded videos will be overwritten, except for those which are protected by a
manual le lock or G-Sensor Emergency lock.
What kind of memory card can I use with the dash cam?
The dashcam requires a microSDHC/microSDXC memory card with a minimum rated
speed of Class 10 / UHS-I or above. The following SD card brands have been tested
and are compatible with our cameras: ADATA, Kingston, Patriot, and Transcend
(8GB-64GB max and must be rated class 10 or higher). Others may work, however,
these are the brands we have tested extensively in-house.
Incompatible Cards
We are unable to recommend SanDisk or Samsung branded memory cards because
after a short period of time they often become incompatible and cause disruption in
the operation of the dashcam.
The suction cup mount will not stay on my windshield.
Ensure that the protective cover (plastic lm) has been removed from the suction
pad. Ensure that the locking lever is fully open when the mount is pushed on to the
windshield and then close the lever. Make sure that the glass is smooth and clean.
Do not mount to an surface that has any non-smooth effect or paint.
I cannot insert the MicroSD card.
MicroSD card are very small and require delicate use. Align the card with the
diagram shown on the dash camera and insert the card until you feel a slight spring
resistance. You then need to push the card using your nger nail until you hear a
click sound and feel a small latch. Release pressure and the card will stay retained
within the device. Use the edge of a small coin if you have difculty.
I cannot remove the MicroSD card.
With the card previously installed, you now need to push the card further inwards
slightly, using your nger nail, until you hear and feel a small latch. Use the edge
of a small coin if you have difculty. Release pressure and the card will spring out
sufciently for you to take hold of it.
The screen blanks after a few minutes.
The screen saver mode has been set to ON. Change settings to OFF if required.
Default setting is off.
The battery will not charge.
Ensure the Dash Cam is connected to a reliable power source and that the supplied
Car Power Cable is being used, with the Power LED lit.

FAQ
I get the message “SD Card Error. Please format SD card” on screen.
The SD card has been formatted in another device and the Cluster Size is not
compatible. There may also be an error on the card. Use the Setup option to re-
format the SD card from within the Dash Cam.
I get the message “Memory Card Full on screen.
The SD card has become full as there may be too many protected les which will not
be deleted to allow for further recording to take place. Delete unnecessary les or
perform a full FORMAT upon the SD card from within the cameras Setup Menu.
Mass Storage function does not work.
The Mass storage function will work on both Windows and Mac. Restart the PC, as
this may be required for the necessary driver to be loaded correctly. Disconnect and
reconnect the Dash Cam.
Video les cannot be played.
The video les from the duDuo e1 are saved in .MOV format, and may not be
compatible with your PC if suitable playback software is not installed.
Video Image is blurred.
Please remove the protective lens cover (if it is not yet removed), clean the camera
lens using a soft cloth, and cleaning the windshield may improve video image
quality.
Video has no sound.
Ensure that “Microphone” setting is turned ON within the Settings.
The front camera feels very hot. Is this normal?
Due to the camera’s metal construction, the camera may be hot to touch after a
prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Please pay extra attention when touching the
front camera during hot weather season.
