The L5020 Serial Communications Adapter is an accessory for the 5020 and
5023 (502X) Data Collection PC™. It converts Infrared Data Association (IrDA)
data to a wired RS-232 data stream. When you install the adapter on a 502X,
you can connect the 502X to a host computer or other device through the serial
port. You can also connect an Intermec power supply (Part No. 065236) to the
adapter to charge the 502X battery pack.
You need an Intermec null-modem cable (Part No. 070268, sold separately) to
connect the adapter to your RS-232 device.
Note: The AC power cord for the power supply is ordered separately.
Be sure you have the correct power cord for your location. For help,
contact your Intermec sales representative.
