and enter standby mode.
5. Humidifier button:
In operating mode, press the humidifier button to control the humidifier
function. The LED indicator light on the top panel will reflect its working status

selected fan speed.
EN
www.newair.com 16
Natural mode:
The operation of natural mode is shown in the following figure:
Nature mode: is a pre-programmed mode that automatically changes the
fan speed cyclically from high to medium to low, creating the effect of natural
wind. The LED display will only show the initial selected speed (high, mid, low).
All other speeds activated and deactivated automatically are not displayed on
the screen.
Sleep mode:
When the appliance enters sleep mode, it will assume the most recent wind
speed of the previous mode as its initial speed, then decrease one level in
speed in 30-minute intervals. The fan speed indicator light will also change at
30 minute intervals until the selected timer period has ended. If no timer has
been set, the appliance will keep running at low speed in normal mode.
When in sleep mode, the appliance will operate in the following way:
- High speed: 30 minutes high speed normal mode → 30 minutes medium
speed normal mode, corresponding mid fan speed LED icon will be ON →
constant low speed normal mode (corresponding low speed LED icon will be
ON) until the preset time period ends or the unit is shut down.
- Medium speed: 30 minutes medium speed normal mode → constant low
speed normal mode (corresponding mid speed LED icon will be ON) until the
preset time period ends or the unit is shut down.
- Low speed: Machine will keep operating at low fan speed in normal wind
(corresponding mid speed LED icon will be ON) until the preset timer period
ends or the unit is shut down.
EN
www.newair.com 17
When the machine is in sleep mode, the speed icon will change at 30 minute
intervals, and the icons will not change as the speeds in normal mode.
7. Turn off screen button:
(This button can be found on the remote control.)
When the machine is in operating mode, press the screen button. The screen
will enter its resting state, and all indicators will be off. To re-engage the
screen, simply press any button.
Note:
1. Water shortage alarm power off protection: When the water pump has been
working for 45s and the corresponding software has been working for 5s (50s
total) and detects that the water level switch is off (indicating a water level
shortage), the water pump will stop working and the alarm will sound 10 times.
2. This machine has an uninterruptible power memory function. If the power
isn’t turned off completely (kept in standby mode), the fan will start in the
most recent selected state before shutting down when it is turned on again.
Sleep mode, drying mode, and timer settings are not memorized, however.
3. If there has been no operation for 1 minute or more, the indicator lights’
brightness will dim by 30%.
4. If the fan is restarted and the power has not been shut off since its previous
use, the machine will begin operating from the mid fan speed before switching
to the memorized fan speed after 3 seconds.

Water filling
Before turning on the cooling/humidifying function, please add water to the
water tank. Before adding water, rotate the bobbing bracket by 90 degrees.
Then, pull out the water tank halfway and gradually fill to the maximum
indicated level. When finished, push the water tank back in and rotate the
bobbing bracket back to its original position.
Please pay attention to the water level in the water tank when adding water
manually (as shown in picture 5).
1. When adding water, please be careful to fill at least to the minimum
indicated water level and not to exceed the maximum indicated water
level.
2. Be sure to use clean tap water to fill the water tank.
3. Tips: When the machine is used for the first time, it may be accompanied
by a slight smell, and the water in the tank may bear a slight discoloration.
These are normal, non-toxic, and harmless phenomena and will not affect
your health.
4. If ice pack is included, the water level should not be higher than the MAX
line of the water tank.
Remote control operation:
1. First, open the battery cover of the remote control and insert a 3V CR2032
battery. Battery cover opening method: hold in the direction of arrow 1
first to remove the button on the battery cover, then draw it out in the
direction of arrow 2.
2. Please aim at the receiver when using the remote control.
EN
www.newair.com 19
3. After the battery has been exhausted, pull out the cover following the
indicated directions and replace with a new battery (3V CR2032). Please
note the positive pole and negative pole of the battery when inserting.
Then, replace the battery cover.
a) The cells shall be disposed of properly, including keeping them away
from children; and
b) Even used cells may cause injury
USAGE OF ICE PACKS:
Ice packs have cold storage and heat preservation characteristics, which can
absorb any heat in the water in your water tank, keeping the water
temperature lower than the ambient room temperature for several hours to
make the air from the air conditioning unit cooler.
1. Place the ice pack into your freezer until it freezes completely.
2. Place the frozen ice pack into the water tank of your air conditioning unit
or ice box. After about 10 minutes, the water temperature in the water
tank will be lower than the ambient room temperature.
3. WARNING: Do not open the cover of the ice pack or swallow its contents.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE
Do not use chemicals during cleaning. WARNING: Before cleaning, always turn
off the machine’s power and unplug the power plug to avoid the risk of electric
shock.
When dust accumulates on the outside surface of the appliance, simply wipe it
with a soft cloth. If the surface is dirty (more than just dust), water below 122°F
should be mixed with a neutral detergent to be used with a soft cloth to clean
and wipe the surface of the unit. Allow the surface to air dry.
During cleaning, never use gasoline, oil, or any other substance that could
damage or corrode the outer surface.
Cleaning the filter
Too much dust on the air filter will affect the fan’s function. It should be
cleaned at least once every other month.
To clean the air filter:
1. Remove the power cord from the power outlet.
2. Remove the rear air filter. The cooling pad can then be removed as well.
(Operation is shown below.)
3. Soak the honeycomb filter assemblage in detergent for a few minutes,
then wash and dry.
