Theexpectedservicelifeofthisproductissevenyearswhenused
dailyandinaccordancewiththesafetyinstructions,maintenance
intervalsandcorrectuse,statedinthismanual.Theeffectiveservice
lifecanvaryaccordingtofrequencyandintensityofuse.
1.4Warranty
Thewarrantycoversallmaterialandproductiondefectsfortwo
yearsfromthedateofdelivery,provideditcanbedemonstratedthat
suchdefectswerepresentbeforedelivery.Allmanufacturingfaultsor
defectsmustbepromptlyreported.
Invacare®mayrepairthefaultorreplacethecomponent.The
warrantyprovidedbyInvacare®doesnotcoveradditionalcosts
(transport,packaging,labour,sundryexpenses,etc.areforthe
customer’saccount).
Thewarrantydoesnotcover:

Thebedmustnotbeusedbypersonsunder12years
ofage,orbypersonswithabodysizeequivalenttoan
average12yearsoldorsmaller.
Thebed,incombinationwithsiderailsmustnotbe
usedforpersonsunder45kgorunder150cmheight.
Thehandcontrolmustnotbeusedbychildren.
Duetomattresscompression,anincreasedriskmay
occurovertime.Periodicallymonitorgapsbetween
thebed,mattressand/orsiderail.Replacemattressif
thegapsmayleadtoentrapment.
Makesurethatthereisnothingunder,over,ornear
thebedthatcanlimitthemovementofthebedor
themattresssupport;suchasothermedicaldevices
(lifters),furniture,windowframesandstorageboxes.

Themedicalelectricalequipmentpowersupplycord
shouldbekeptclearoftheaccessoriesoranyother
movingpartsofthebed.

Thebedfulfilsallrequirementsregardingmaximum
distances.However,itispossiblethatpersonswithsmall
bodydimensionsslipthroughtheopeningsbetweenthe
siderailsorthroughtheopeningbetweenthesiderail

Payspecialattention,ifthebedisusedforthecareof
personswithsmallbodydimensions.

Alwayslowerthebedtothelowestpositionbefore
